We are getting lots of messages in the Storage Management Log "Local index is not synchronized with object storage, please rescan the scale-out backup repository". We were unaware of these messages for months, so we have had problems syncing our data offsite for months and completely unaware of this. Can offload health show up in the main backup console somewhere? From a console perspective, everything showed as green so we thought our backup environment was running great.
Secondly, since this time, we have only been able to keep our offloads running smoothly by doing manual scaleout rescans everyday. Do the scaleout repositories not self-heal and rescan on their own?
