I have a big doubt.
We want to implement immutable backup on AWS S3 Glacier for our local copies of servers on Veeam.
How secure is this option against Hackers?
If a hacker accesses our systems and deletes the catalog or the whole Veeam server we have locally, if we want to recover from AWS immutability, could we do it knowing that we have lost the local Veeam catalog and even the whole local Veeam server?

Re: Restore from immutable copy AWS S3 when all is lost
Sure, as our backups are self-contained. So you just import them in to a new Veeam install and start restoring.
