Hi All,
We have a question in that if our Veeam server dies (i.e. a VM on the same host that fails), is the process to build a new Veeam server and import the Wasabi backups while adding the repositiory?
Although it sounds like a stupid question, when we have imported buckets as a test it hasn't worked. And from what I can see, if we use an S3 browser, we cannot see files as vbk etc.
Any advice welcomed and appreciated.
Thanks
Dave

Re: Importing Wasabi Backups
Hi, Dave,
You can easily import backups from an object storage repository. The process differs slightly depending on how the object storage repository was used: as a standalone backup repository or as part of a scale-out backup repository.
In the first case, you need to rescan the repository, and in the second case, initiate the backup import procedure.
You can read more about both mechanisms here.
Thanks!
