Hi guys, since v12.1 I've found the new Health Check for Object Storage Repositories using an helper appliance
It's possible to run manually this Health Check for Object Storage Repositories?
The helper appliance automagycally shutdown after completing the Health Check to reduce cloud costs?
I want to try this new feature since I think it's very important to have healthy backups in the Cloud, actually I have some customers with 3 - 4 years of forever incremental backups in Azure and I'm sure they are not 100% corruption free

Re: Manual run of Health Check for Object Storage Repositories
Hi Marco
For direct backup to object storage:
Unfortunately there is no way to run a manual health check for machine backups.
For NAS backups we have an option. As a workaround for a manual start, you can schedule a health-check in 5 or 10 min from now (in job properties) and it will start.
For Capacity Tier health check:
Also no manual health check. You need to use the health check schedule to schedule it as soon as possible.
Best,
Fabian

The appliance will be shutdown and deleted after the health-check is done. The helper appliance automagycally shutdown after completing the Health Check to reduce cloud costs?

Re: Manual run of Health Check for Object Storage Repositories
Thanks Fabian, please add a feature request to run a manual Health Check
Actually I have a case open Case #07125212 because the Health Check on Azure Blob Storage doesn't seems to work, it start on Veeam side, but nothing happen on Azure side. Then on Veeam side I don't have any info (success, fail, warning) regarding the Health Check
