So this is just a thought that I have regarding a large Object Based storage appliance that I have available. How can I use it as a repository for Veeam Backups ?
It seems Object based storage cannot be written to directly by Veeam but that it maybe possible via Veeam Cloud Connect ?
So I thought maybe I could set up my own internal service provider (cloud connect) infrastructure and then offload my normal internal backups to my 'internal cloud' and make use of the object storage (which would be offsite).
If thats the case, what components do I actually need as a Service provider for Cloud connect ?

Re: My own internal Cloud connect service ?
Neither VB&R, nor VB&R Cloud Connect can work with object based storage. More information regarding that matter can be found in this topic. Thanks!
