According to the responsible team, it's TiB. Thanks!

[MERGED] TiB or TB
Hi,
When looking up into the backup properties of Object storage ( in the Home > backup context ) the Backup size and capacity on object storage is measured in TB.
Just to verify, are these values TB or TiB ?
Looks like the capacity on the object storage is much lower than the amount summed up of all entries listed in the Object storage backups. What could be logical while I assume that like ReFS/XFS object storage is not consuming the capacity listed for full backups.
Is there a way to cross check the "used" capacity by Veeam with the used capacity on Object storage ?

Re: Object Storage in TiB or TB ?
Hello,
is the first part of the question the same you asked before? (I merged the question to the existing thread)
The second part of the question: are you saying, that the size "on object storage" (screenshot below) does not fit?
If yes: did you already check with the object storage vendor and Veeam support (support case number please)? I remember at least one situation, where the object storage vendor reported wrong values.
Best regards,
Hannes
