Can someone tell me a little bit more about this step "Object storage repository cleanup" in the SOBR Tiering Offload job, what does it do and why can it take long to complete?

Backup server is removing blocks belonging to obsolete restore points.
User Guide wrote:Offloaded data blocks that correspond to the restore point that is being removed will be purged from the object storage repository upon the next successful session of the offload job.
