SOBR Off-loading - Slow Processing
Hey,
Just curious if anyone has ran into this or has a solution. Currently in the middle of a SOBR off-loading, it's processing at 10 MB/s and taking forever. Bottleneck is 'Source'.
WAN is 1G, LAN is 10G
Windows Server 2019 - Latest of 1809
24 Core - 224GB of RAM.
Local disks
My concurrent tasks are set at 20 items. CPU usage is at 5%, RAM usage is at 50GB (normal usually) and disk usage is at 5-10 MB/s.
I have a webex scheduled with Veeam later this week. Asking the forum as well.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Can you post your case #? Everything you described should be good. I’m glad you opened a case as well because it looks to be a local issue of some sorts.

I’ll take a look at the logs and see what I can see. I’ll reply back in the morning as I’m in the U.S.

Hi Aziz,
I checked the logs but it is missing some of the required info. Couple of questions, Do you use a gateway proxy for offload? When you pull log files what options are you checking?

Re: SOBR Off-loading - Slow Processing
Dustin,
I was told by support to upload the SOBR log folder located in C:\ProgramData\Veeam\Backup\SOBR-jobname on the Veeam server (none from the proxies).
We do have proxies, we use them for backup only and not offloading.

Re: SOBR Off-loading - Slow Processing
We are having the same issue, max upload is 10MB and taking forever.
Do you have any updates that can help lead us in the right direction to fix this?

Re: SOBR Off-loading - Slow Processing
In the case above, backup storage was found to be at its IOPS capacity, so it was the bottleneck also for the offload process.

Re: SOBR Off-loading - Slow Processing
The only possible fix is to get a faster backup storage can't hotfix the physics!

Can you share the tool that we can check our IOPS capacity?
