SOBR offload transferred/read data
Hi everybody,
we are using azure blob storage as an extent for our SOBR and it works beautiful. When I take a look at the offloading process, I'm always wondering about the shown figures:
The restore point has 7,6 GB which is shown in the brackets but what is 11,3 GB read? If there are only 7,6 GB in the restore point, then why does veeam read much more? And I'm wondering where it is reading this data. On the local repository or from the object storage or both? What should this number represent?
Thanks for the clarifications!

Re: SOBR offload transferred/read data
Hey there Michael.
Our QA has confirmed this to be a calculation UI Bug and will be fixed in an upcoming update. That 11.3GB is your uncompressed storage size relative to the vrb.

Hi Anthony,
after I've installed Update 4b I took another look at the figures and I still can see the bug there - looks to me that it hasn't been fixed. Can you confirm that?

Re: SOBR offload transferred/read data
Vladimir, it seems that there's a revival of that bug in the current v11. I again see things like
"07.07.2022 09:08:16 :: vm.vm-84198D2022-07-07T080528_0123.vib (2,8 MB) 2,2 GB read at 2 MB/s"
Can you confirm that?
