Storage Management Job Reporting
Is there any mechanism available to report on the "Offload" jobs listed in /History/Storage management much the same as you can with Backup Jobs? More specific to this question is "Jobname Offloads", though the every 4 hour SoBR Offload is just as important. We turned on the "Copy" feature for SoBR Capacity Tiering. Is there the...
1. ability to run PowerShell to list failed "Jobname Offload" to the level of which VM failed to have the backup copied offsite (in our case Azure)?
2. ability to run reports from Veeam ONE on failed "Offload" jobs?
3. ability to have Veeam Monitor alert on failed "Jobname Offloads"?
These jobs are just as critical as the backups to insure recovery of data in the event of a disaster. The daily failed SoBR report is worthless as it lacks any detail.
An alternative is an Audit job to compare local backup files to what is stored offsite and report any discrepancy.
Finally, it would be nice when a "Jobname Offload" fails, to spawn off a "(retry x)" flavor much the same as backup jobs. We see a "Jobname Offload" fail for a VM backup file only later in the same job show it was successful. In my opinion, the job did not fail, it copied the backup files offsite.

Re: Storage Management Job Reporting
Hello Mike,
There is no such a report in Veeam ONE yet. However we have the feature in the roadmap.
Thanks

Hi,
is it possible to check with PowerShell if there was an error during the offload?
And if yes how?
Thanks in advance

I don't believe so. Normally you should not worry about individual offloads at all, as they will be retried and resumed. The whole goal was to ensure customers don't have to manage this process. Just reviewing the daily SOBR email report should really be enough for all things SOBR. Thanks!

There is an undocumented and unsupported way shared in the adjacent thread. So, use it wisely. Thanks!
