Hi,
The customer's environment already has approximately 1 PB of backup data in Veeam's local repository.
We have a requirement to transfer the backup data to GCP object storage in the future.
Do you have any examples of archiving such a large amount of data to object storage?
Kind Regards,
Asahi,

Re: Transferring large amounts of backup data exceeding 1PB to object storage
Hi Asahi
May I ask, is it also 1PB of production data?
In object storage, we don‘t offload each fullbackup with their entire size.
The main problem could be the initial sync. The amount of a fullbackup and all incrementals must be transferred over internet. This can take some time.
Thanks
Fabian
