Unable to add extent to SOBR
I am trying to add a new SOBR to offload to our Cloudian S3 storage.
When I try to add the Performance Tier I get the error: "Unable to add extent because it serves one or more job types that not supported by a Scale Out Backup Repository"
if I click on more details it a shows a replica job.
This replica job is not using the repository in question for metadata so where is this conflict coming from and any possible fix ?
NB: I have added several other SOBR's and they are working fine.

Re: Unable to add extent to SOBR
Hi,
It means that the repository was once a target for the replica job still contains some data produced by that job. To add this repository as a SOBR extent, you first need to remove that data.
It is also stated in SOBR limitations.
Thanks!

Oleg, he said "this replica job is not using the repository in question for metadata".
@tfountain if this is the case indeed, you should open a support case and have our engineers investigate this through the debug logs. These should reflect the conflict.

Re: Unable to add extent to SOBR
I have resolved by creating a new backup repository and moving the backup files, SOBR creation will then allow me to add it.
I have closed the support case.
