Hello!
i havec a little question : what happens if we use the Move option without the Copy option ?
I'm assuming if there are any backups on the storage objects it will delete them locally. But what if no backups on object storage ?
thank you.

Re: use of Move option only
@karim You can absolutely use the move mode without the copy mode. You can also use the copy mode without the move mode. And lastly you can use them together.
If you use the move mode only, VBR will move older/closed backup chains to the object storage. We leave behind "shell" backup files which contain metadata which points to the moved backup data. These shell files have the backup data "pruned" from them so they are much smaller than the original backup files.
Here is the documentation for the move mode and explains the process in great detail: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=100
Hope this answers your question.
