Veeam Backup & Replication to the Azure Blob storage.

Hello everyone,
This is my first post. I am using Veeam Backup & Replication version 11 to backup Vmware Exsi Window guests to a local USB drive on the proxy and to the Synology nas.
The backup is around 10 Tb.

I tried to use the Synology to sync to Azure Blob Storage, for 24 hours transfer of 120 Gb. For 10 Tb, will it take 83 days? The daily incremental data is around 160 GB.
I will try to use Veeam's scale-out repositories to see if any improvement in the transfer rate.

Second question: I am trying to figure out to create a replica using Azure VM Solution. Do I need to wait to transfer all 10 Tb to the Azure VM and append all the incremental data changes before I can test it?

I am testing the instant DR and store daily backup to the cloud.

could we get more information that "sync" means? Does Synology create a 1:1 copy of the data or is it a "move" of old data?

that's what the calculator says, yes with only 120GB transfer rate per day, 160GB increments will be impossible.

let us know. I don't know how Synology works and I'm missing how much bandwidth you have available.

Second question seems to be out of Veeam scope. Or can you maybe provide some more details what you do? Veeam offers "Restore to Azure". But we don't do any replication directly to Azure VMs.

Are you probably talking about some native Synology technology that allows backing up device content to Microsoft Azure? If so, then it's not a question that can be answered by Veeam representatives or Veeam community forum members
