Veeam - Bucket Access Method
Hi All
I am working on a load balancing configuration for an S3 compatible cluster. Does anyone know if Veeam uses the path-style or virtual-hosted-style access for S3 offload?
More info here: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonS3/la ... intro.html
Thank you!

Re: Veeam - Bucket Access Method
I am pretty sure that Veeam uses the path style for this. I am going to double-check unless someone else beats me to it.

Re: Veeam - Bucket Access Method
We can use both but hosted style is the preferred standard.
S3 actually had planned to deprecate path style but paused that plan for the time being.

Thanks, Dustin. Is there documentation on this somewhere? I would be interested to read it.

@chris.childerhose There really isnt any documentation on this subject for public consumption. I have a guide that i work with object vendors on this subject.
