Wasabi Cloud Sync Manager

Post by lowlander »

Hi,

Does anyone have experience with Wasabi as a capacity tier and using a new feature of Wasabi called Wasabi Cloud Sync Manager ?

I have included some more information :
https://wcsmdocs.wasabi-support.com/docs#1-what-is-wcsm

Just curious how the restore proces will apply when using the replicated bucket :?

As far as we know this bucket replication feature does not play well with the Capacity Tier, especially if immutability is enabled. Thanks!

Confirmed, we have tested Veeam with replicating backups using Wasabi Cloud Sync Manager. However this only works for backup jobs which are NOT using Immutability, or Object Lock.

Replicated Backups
-Backups without using Immutability: YES
-Backups with using Immutability: NO
