Wasabi minimum retention

Post by kcears » 1 person likes this post

Hi,

One quick additional point if you're going to use Wasabi and want to keep costs down. By default they have a 90 day retention requirement. Once you've started uploading Veeam related data to a Wasabi bucket, you can contact Wasabi Support and ask them to lower your retention requirement to 30 days, because you're using their storage for Veeam. They will confirm you have Veeam data stored and then make the change.

Hello,
and welcome to the forums.

Thanks for sharing that knowledge. As it was relatively unrelated to the other topic, I make your post a separate topic.

Best regards,
Hannes
