Hi all,
I'm trying to estimate the amount of data being sent to AWS S3 as we are looking at using Cloud Tier.
I've used this calculator to assist with calculations: https://rps.dewin.me/
My source data that I am backing up is 76TB.
Backup copy job is 4 weekly, 12 monthly, 7 yearly.
Change rate of 8% and growth of 10%.
Data reduction of 2.8x.
First month full is 28.82TB, which is all sent to AWS.
Second month the calculator shows 10.92TB. I assume this is the changes for that month that will be sent to AWS.
Third month it shows 11TB. So this would be sent to AWS for the third month.
Does this sound correct, or am I missing something?

Re: Working out amount of data sent to AWS S3 with Cloud Tier
Have you enabled ReFS option while estimating the size of resulting data? Thanks!

Yes I did enable the ReFS checkbox.
Do those figures make sense then ... just trying to determine what amount of data is sent offsite each month.
