adding AWS could backup to my local veem backup

I am trying to get a understanding of taking copies of my local Veeam backups and archive the backups to AWS cloud. I just want to have a historical backup for PCI compliancy so I don't need high speed restores for DR as I will be keeping a months worth of local copies. I am thinking AWS S3 Glacier may be what I need but I could use some guidance on this . Veeam support just told me to speak to one of there Veeam/AWS business partners but I am hoping I can get some help on this forum. Thank you for your time

Support for AWS Glacier (also Azure Archive tier) is planned for version 11.

A workaround could be VTLs that can speak to Glacier. But I would not do it as tape only allows full-vm restore (no single file / object restore).

If you want to save money, and start "now", then I recommend looking at other object storage providers. They are much cheaper.
