Backblaze fireball?

Post by leo.white »

Backblaze has a fireball service that is a data migration tool. Does anyone know if something like this would work with S3 blob storage. My assumption is no, but i know we can seed a backup copy job. So i thought it was better to ask.

Will have to be tested. For example, we support some of the similar solutions from Amazon for this purpose, but not the other (see the sticky topic for more info).

This wouldn’t work. Fireball is a synology nas that has a folder to copy Data into. Our data would need to be in S3 format.

One might be able to us minio to seed the s3 data onto the fireball. But this hasn’t been tested or validated.
