Configuration resyncronize error

Post by SlobodanL »

Hello all,

I have setup Scale out backup repository with capacity tier on Amazon S3 with the intention to use it as DR if needed to restore VMs backed up from my vSphere infrastructure to Amazon EC2 instances. When testing restore, I have installed Veeam Backup & Replication server as a EC2 instance, and created new Scale out backup repository, including the S3 bucket with backup files as a capacity tier. When syncing this repository I get errors>

"Failed to import backup XXXXXXXXXXXX Details: Cannot delete cryptokey {C0EE9A64-E2C6-44D4-99D2-5D9DA79B45D9}, because it is used in recovery records."

My backups are encrypted both on the performance tier and capacity tier.
