Feature Request - Creating buckets with object lock over Veeam UI

I have a lot of customers using buckets with object lock. Unfortunately for the most providers it must be done over CLI. And object lock can only be applied on bucket creation.

Why is there no way in Veeam VBR to create a new bucket and activate object lock? I would kindly ask for such (very easy) feature to help the customers.

Because as you say for most of providers it must be done over CLI calls, and those calls vary between them. There is no universal call, and we cannot pick up the right one for every existing S3 compatible storage system (there are tons of them). Moreover, we cannot even know whether the given object storage supports object lock in principle.
