Move files from Capacity Tier (Wasabi)

Post by henrikaj »

I suggest a feature request so we can move backups back from Wasabi to On-Prem. Atm we can copy data back but not move.

My reason is we needed to store data i Wasabi because of delays in delivery of Disk Shelf and we were close to be out of diskspace, so we chose to use Wasabi. It worked but now I need to move our backups back on prem.

It would be nice it could be moved as easily with seam seamless gui as moving from on-prem to Wasabi.

Kind Regard Henrik

Hi Henrik

Welcome to the forum.
We already support downloading backups within the Veeam console:

Hi Henrik

After the download, you can remove object storage from your SOBR and Veeam console. Then delete the bucket on Wasabi.

Please note: The download of those files is not a Fast Clone aware process. You need to that in your plan going forward.
