Multiple Internet traffice rules (SOBR to Azure)

Post by kbr »

Hi,

I use traffice rules to limit the bandwith used to upload files from our SOBR to Azure Blob. The thing is, i only have one rule which i can limit bandwith to internet with. So if i limit daily between 10AM and 5PM i can not limit for instane between 5PM and 11PM. If i add a rule i have to specify ip-addresses, since it's an internet rule i want to specify the target range as "Internet" . Can somoboy explain how to do that?

Hello!

You can create multiple traffic rules for different times of the day using your Azure datacenter IP address range as the target:

Thanks!

Hi, thanks for the reply.

But Microsoft can of course change these IP's on a regular basis so adding static IP's can be tricky if MS changes / ads IP's. Is there no way to have multiple "Internet" rules. The default one is doing it's job but i need more of these rules.

It's hard for me to see Microsoft changing their assigned IP addresses, because the IPv4 address pool has been exhausted - so everyone gets to keep what they have forever now.

But yes, currently there's no way to have multiple "Internet" rules.
