SOBR Offload Failed Case #06152839

Post by Pepperchini »

Good morning.

I'm having a very similar issue to this post object-storage-f52/sobr-offload-failing ... 89231.html. About a month ago everything was fine and but then started getting messages that the offload to Wasabi was failing. I've done several different scans after working with Veeam support and none have worked (even after applying the latest patches for VBR 12). The jobs complete successfully to our performance tier but the offload to capacity won't work for a handful of machines. To be clear, the capacity offloads are working for other jobs but just not a couple.

The VM's that are in those jobs that are failing give me the error: Backup file version mismatch scale out backup repository rescan is required.

One of those VM's is no longer needed so I'm working with Wasabi right now to get it removed but Veeam support hasn't been able to get this issue resolved in about a month so I'm reaching out to the community here to see if anyone has found a resolution for this.

Hello Sergio

Thanks for the case number. Unfortunately such issues are not something the community can solve.
I can see, the case was yesterday escalated to the next tier. Let's see what we can find out.

It's not that the community doesn't want to help. In my eyes it makes more sense to keep working with our support team on the issue. Our support team has all the information from the logs and the necessary tools to troubleshoot the issue. We (product management) in the forum don't have access those tools.

Let me see if I can escalate the case from my side. May I first ask, since when does the offload not work anymore? Since you have opened the ticket? How many VMs are affected? Are there any other copies besides the primary backup or backups on the capacity tier?

Best,
Fabian
