Veeam B&R & Azure Immutability

I am using SOBR to offload my backups to Azure Blob container and I have this container configured for Version-Level Immutability. I also have immutability set on my SOBR container in Veeam B&R. I know these backups cannot be deleted or modified until the immutability period expires through Veeam B&R but can these files be deleted directly from Azure?

Do I need to add an Access Policy with Time-based retention enabled on the container in Azure to prevent a direct deletion of Veeam backup files?
