Wasabi storage V11 to V12

Post by lmbutault »

hello,

I am an already user of wasabi storage in V11, now moved to V12.
I see we can now declare wasabi as an object storage provider and not have to go through S3 compatible.

At the end is configuration the same in V12 choosing Wasabi than previously S3 compatible in V11?
Should we consider to reconfigure previous S3 compatible object storage repos in V12 to wasabi mode? if so, how to?

regards.

Hello Louis-Marie

The configuration in the backend is the same. The Wasabi option allows you to add the bucket with a nice wasabi icon and you don't have to provide the service URL when configuring the object storage connection in the Veeam console.

I suggest using the Wasabi option for new implementations.
