Hi,

I ran in to the same issue as mentiored here: physical-cloud-f49/rescan-of-manually-a ... 56589.html

I disabled the group "Manually added", but the problem ist still present.
It seems to be an authentification issue or something similar. And it doesn't matter if the group is enabled or disabled.

If I go to the Inventory, right-click the group "Manually Added", go to > Properties > Computers and click on "Test now", I get no errors. Veeam is able to login to my workstation.

When I proceed this "properties-wizard" and check "Run discovery when I click finish", then Veeam isn't able to login to the workstation any more. I get the error: "Unable to install backup agent: cannot connect to 127.0.0.1 Error: The user name or password is incorrect". . But this credentials are correct, were checked successfully and the user is member of the local administrators group.

My Backup-jobs fail any time, no matter if the group is enabled or disabled.

Veeam B&R 9.5.4a is installed on my local workstation.

This issue is is not related to false positive email reporting mentioned in the thread (as report is generated due to issues with agent deployment). Any chance you have a case ID to share? Thank you!

I have the exact same issue.
Were you able to somehow resolve this?

Can you double check that you can access the affected machine via admin share from Veeam B&R server? Thank you!

thank you very much. That was a pointer into the right direction. It was indeed related to admin shares.
It's working now.
