Backup Copy Job stuck at 99%

Hello,

I have a backup copy job stuck at 99% at the point of "Merging oldest incremental backup into full backup file." My 3rd party cloud provider is stating that it's because of my number of retention points. But I only have seven days worth. Any idea how to fix this? Should I stop the job or let it finish?

Hi,

Have you changed the number of restorepoints to keep recently from some hight number to 7? If not, then only one merged operation is required and you should let it finish.
How big is the vbk and incrementals?

I have not recently changed. Where would I go to see the size of the vbk and incrementals in the cloud?

You can check that and other information in the "Cloud" sub-leaf of the "Backups" node. Go there and right-click on the Job and select properties.

Hello Patrick.

The correct way of investigating this problem would be to open a support case with our support team together with your service provider. Can you please ask him to do that? Another option would be to open the case from your end (and provide support with contact details of your service provider). Cheers!

Do you have a case ID to share? Have you checked with your service provider (connectivity issues might be related to the infrastructure side of your service provider)? Cheers!

My issue ended up being with my service provider and the number of restore points I had set up. I ended up having to open a ticket with Veeam support to work together with my service provider to get it resolved. In the end I think we ended up recreating most of my copy jobs.
