Protection Group Rescan

Post by perjonsson1960 »

Folks,

I have made five protection groups in B&R 9.5 Update 3. Yesterday I set them all as disabled. But one of them still did the rescan this morning, while the other four did not. Is there a known reason for this "glitch"?

Sincerely,

Hello Per.

Any chance this protection group is selected to be the source for managed by agent job type? Thanks.

Hello!

No, it is the source of a failover cluster backup, managed by server.

Rescan can be triggered by backup job (whenever it's required to update or collect the information about Protection Group content). Open History node, find the protection group rescan session and check it's log activity to double check it.

It didn't run this morning. Let's leave it at that. ;-)
Thanks!
