Veeam Cloud - Error: Failed to start a repository agent

Hi,

In our infrastructure we have configured Veeam Cloud Connect to provide backup service to various clients.

The problem that is happening is that, depending on the client, there are failures in the copies that are uploaded, always giving the same error message:

Error: Failed to start a repository agent

Processing SQL-W8kR2 Error: Failed to start a repository agent
Processing vcenteravalcanarias Error: Failed to start a repository agent
Processing EXCH-W8kR2 Error: Failed to start a repository agent
Processing SQL-W8kx64 Error: Failed to start a repository agent
Processing TS-W8kR2 Error: Failed to start a repository agent
Processing SRVFILES Error: Failed to start a repository agent

We have a Linux repository as a cloud repository. We have made a rescan of the repository in each client and we see that it connects correctly.

In the Linux repository, in / var / log / VeeamBackup we can see the backup copy logs that are made successfully, since it only writes in log when the copy process begins.

Where else could I look to try to troubleshoot this?

I'd recommend you check this situation with our support team directly since troubleshooting is done via support service. Please, let us know your support case ID once you have it - we'll keep an eye on it.

But before putting a case in support of Veeam, I would like to know where to be able to look exactly at some more information of the error, since I do not see any log so much in the Linux repository, where there I see the backup copy logs that are being doing correctly in / var / log / veeambackup but I don't see any more information.

Any idea where the shots could go !?

All these questions can be addressed by our support engineers. Please note, that as requested when you click the "New topic" button you should mention your support case ID when posting about any technical error, otherwise the post might be deleted.

Personally, I think the root cause is related to privileges/missing modules, but it's better to let our engineers check the debug logs.
