Backup failed

Hi, I try to backup a 100Gb VM over a VPN IPSec tunnel. The replicas stops at 10Mb with the following error :

BackupFile failed
Client error: Connection timed out
Unable to retrieve next block transmission command. Number of already processed blocks: [9910].
Cannot backup file in the service console mode

Hello Carole,

It seems to be a connectivity issue, Veeam Backup and Replication needs a reliable channel to perform backup/replication jobs. Do you see this error confirming each time or it just happened once? You may also try transmitting the same size file over the same VPN tunnel to see how it goes, also I'd checked that there are no packet losses or latency spikes at your VPN channel which might prevent your jobs from being successfull.
