Hello,

If I got you correctly you want to truncate the transaction logs, right? In order to do this, you need to enable application aware image processing option in the job settings and make sure logs truncation is checked.

Thank you!

Hello,
yes of course I mean truncate and not delete it. The Enable Application-Aware Image Processing option is active. The only thing that is set that he should ignore errors. Unfortunately, he performs under SQL not by the things. I got it now times changed to an error free backup.

Unfortunately, I do not understand what you're referring to here. Do you have some kind of errors when you enable this option?

Are you saying that that you're trying to truncate SQL logs by both native SQL tools and backup application? Thanks.

I mean he does it with MS Exchange, but not SQL. I have now built a SQL job for it with very large databases. It would be nice if Veeam makes for all databases.

So, just to confirm, you have set Veeam B&R to truncate transaction logs (Truncate logs on successful backup only check box is selected), however logs are not truncated and you currently have to truncate them using native tools, right?

Right. I have set the options. As it gets out of hand I make the Truncate SQL queries and add the one in a task.

Do you have any warning/error messages in the job session log and/or any backup related messages in Windows Event Logs?

that's the strange. Neither of Veeam get an error message nor can I find in the event log errors.
