Crash consistent backup of Linux VM

Hi,
I am trying to back up a few linux VMs (no VSS integration services installed),
What difference does it make in this case if "Hyper-V guest quiscense" & "Crash consistent backup" are enabled or not?
Even with both advanced options turned off, Veeams seems to perform a crash consistent backup according to the job log.

If you don't have integration services installed, Hyper-V guest quiscense settings make no difference. Thanks!
