Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Post by JorisK »

Hi,

I just rebuilded my queue data from scratch by removing the backup data yesterday and this is an error i get on many VM's: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

We're running VEEAM4, with vStorage enabled.

Anyone here that knows what's going on?

Regards,
Joris

Hi, what do you mean by "removing the backup data", what exactly are you doing?

The destination disk was almost full, so i deleted the backup data and restarted the queue yesterday. (usually this gives me a lot of new space since we often move VM's between queue's).

With vStorage enabled i still get the message Object reference not set to an instance of an object...

Anyone?

Did you just delete backup files manually from storage, or did you do it properly using Veeam Backup "Remove from Disk" command on the selected backups?

In that case I suggest that you open a support case to troubleshoot what happened. Thanks.
