Veeam v8 EM RESTful API

Veeam v8 would be released soon.
From the blog, we know Veeam enhance replication/failover and data secure functions.
May we know Veeam change any original RESTful API in v.7?
Or Veeam decide to enhance RESTful API (add more features) in v.8?

Do our application(develop with RESTful API in v.7) could work with v.8 without modification?

The already written code should work fine with version 8. But, of course, you will need to write some new calls, requests, etc. in order to operate with new entities (v8 new functionality). Thanks.
