How much Data is moved when Replication stops?

We've been having to shut down our replication so it doesn't overrun with production hours recently, so we've been wondering, when shutting down a replication prematurely, how much data is actually moved over? The amount that Veeam says or are those restore points removed because the job didn't finish?
