Use only one tape for all incremental job

Post by torendil »

Hello,
I wish use the same tape for all dayly incremental copy, but i fail...I have 2 tape job with 3 media pool : 1 per job and the last for incremental, the incremental job take 2 tape but the first is never full.
Does it's possible to use 1 tape for all dayly incremental job?

Second question to be sure, my tape library have 2 drives, if i have only 1 media pool, veeam use only one drive for backup?

Thanks for your help.

The backup to tape job doesn't completely fill a tape medium and takes a new one, instead? Or it just gets a new tape each time it runs, never appending data to the previously written tape? Thanks.
