Enterprise Manager HTTPS Management Website
Hi Everyone:
I have a net new VEM installation and am trying to access the Management Website using https://hostname:9443 but all I get is the standard IE cannot display the webpage from the VEM server as well as a workstation. I can access the Management Website via https using the following URL https://localhost:9443/ and using the alternative (non-SSL) URL http://hostname:9080.
I have verified that all of the Veeam services are running, IIS and the VeeamBackup site is running, a self-signed SSL certificate is bound to site port.
I have tried the steps in KB ID: 1168 to no avail.
Any suggestions?

Sounds like a DNS issue, check both your local hosts file and your server's local hosts file

Actually, DNS looks fine here, since non-SSL site opens correctly. From what I remember messing with Windows VPN server - IIS has a special settings for SSL web sites, so look at those as well. I vaguely remember I had similar issues until I fixed something there.

Thanks Gostev, for the tip to include the support case ID (I hadn't created one but will shortly). I will play around with the IIS SSL settings some more.

Re: Enterprise Manager HTTPS Management Website
Solution: From within IIS Manager v7 navigate to the VeeamBackup site, SSL Settings and select Require SSL or alternatively Accept client certificates followed by resetting the web site. The Management Website is then accessible via the https://hostname:9443/
