Reports question

Post by royp »

We use Veeam B&R latest patch on V8. We also use Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager, Enterprise Edition. We also use Veeam One.
At the moment we have Ernst & Young auditing out finance systems.
They are asking if they gave us 15 random dates through out the year, even dates prior to our retention period, can we show if our backups ran on them days. Even though we cant recover any data on them days as its way beyond our retention period, they would for some reason like to see that our finance systems were backup up and protected on them days.

Ive trawled through and cant see anything blatantly obvious to show reports beyond our retention period, maybe someone knows how I can set this up or maybe it cant be set up using Veeam.

Thanks in advance.

Roy, if you select the History node in Veeam B&R, you will see all the job sessions taken place within the specified history retention period (1 year, by default; configurable in the general Options dialog, History tab). Is that you're looking for?

Nice one foggy as usual, spot on. We had it as the default.

Appreciate it.
Pointless exercise, but it keeps them happy and in a job :)
