Email from Veeam server

Post by Tech471 »

Hi,

We're running VB&R 8. I'm trying to track down the origin of an email that appears to be sent from our Veeam backup server but is causing an error in our SMTP logs due to a typo in the recipient address. I've checked Options > E-mail Settings tab as well as the configuration of the individual backup jobs but the email addresses entered in both of those places appear correct.

Is there some other place within VB&R where a misspelled email address might reside?

Thanks!

Enterprise Manager? What kind of e-mail it is (screenshot could help).

The bounce arrives on our SMTP server and comes from our Veeam backup server.

After further digging it turned out the incorrect email address was from the Veeam ONE Monitor.
