I am using a Win 10 desktop with two physcial hard drives:
System Volume (SSD)
Data Volume (HD)
What I want to achieve:
a) in case of a system volume failure/issue restore (via Media Recovery) EITHER only the system volume OR system and data volume (I need both options)
b) in case of a data volume failure/issue restore only the data volume
How can I achieve this?
Can I use the 'Entire Computer' Backup option? Will it give me both restore options (a +b)?
If that doesn't work, how can I achieve both a) + b)?
Thanks,
Mike

Re: Backup Strategy for Win Client with 1 system + 1 data vo
Hello Michael,
Entire computer backs up all existing physical volumes in the system, so yes it works for your case. A good reading if you want to know more - Veeam Endpoint Backup Free: Backup modes in depth

Thanks! It seems like when using 'Entire Computer' I can not even restore one volume only but even files. Thanks, now I can get rid off Windows File History Backup

Yes, Entire Computer is an "all-inclusive" backup mode. It supports all types of restores: Bare Metal Recovery, Volume and File level recovery under operating system
