Bare Metal Restore works fine but machine won't boot

I'm just testing out VEB as an alternative to my old WHS2011 server.

It has been backing up a Window7 64bit machine for a few days now and I thought I'd try a restore. The bare metal restore of the full system works fine but when rebooting the machine window's tries to start and then says there is an error and wants me to run system repair etc....

Anyone got any advice?

WHS2011 did not manage to backup this machine properly because of some UEFI stuff which I don't fully understand... Maybe it's related?

Specifically interested was the recovery media created on the very same machine you are trying to restore?

Sorry, yes the recovery media was made on the exact machine. And I'm trying to restore to the same machine.

The restore process actually works fine with no errors and it restores both a 100mb partition and my 32GB partition. Says everything went fine and asks me to reboot.

On reboot windows says there is a problem with my installation and I need to try run the system recovery tool. I let that run but it doesn't find/fix anything.

Thanks! Can you check if the restore log was placed to the backup repository (it should be in the very same folder after recovery) and if it’s there share it with me via OneDrive or Dropbox? Thanks

According to the logs there might be some driver conflict. Can you please try the following solution and let me know if that works.
