Reinsert moved VM Backup Files and Continue Job with this ?

Post by WinstonWolf »

Hello ,

I have the following problem ,

It was necessary to delete and recreate an ISCSI LUN which was an Veeam Repository Drive in Windows on which the Backup Files for an VM Backup Job be located.

I copy the Files to an TEMP ISCSI LUN ( Windows Drive ) . I delete and recreate the Repository LUN . I connected the new LUN in Windows as Drive with the same Drive Letter and take an rescan in Veeam in the Repository .

I copy again the VM Backup Files back in this Repository .

But now when i resart the Job he creates an new Job Folder ( name of the old Job Folder with _1 ) .

Is it possible tha the Backup Job uses the original Backup Files and continue the Backup chain with the old

[SOLVED]

1. Rescan Repository
2. Map Job to VM Backup

Finish
