StoreOnce Catalyst Compression level

Post by crazycommando »

Hi.
I see when creating a backup job to a StoreOnce Catalyst store it nicely adjusts the settings (no inline deduplication & 16TB storage) but doesn't adjust the compression level from Optimal.
Can you please tell me what the recommended compression level setting is when using StoreOnce Catalyst Source Side (i.e Low Bandwidth).

Also for the Backup copy job to a catalyst it I noticed it would allow inline deduplication without any warnings.

Many thanks.

The StoreOnce repository is set to automatically decompress by default, so the compression setting in the job only affects traffic in between your proxies and the gateway server.
