VEEAM Database Cleanup

Post by dualdj1 »

I've had to fix things in the VEEAM database over the years, and during the process have come across orphaned objects in the database. I would like to put in a suggestion for a database cleanup tool of some sort. I'm not sure the orphaned objects are causing much trouble, but I did have problems with tape data not appearing properly in the catalog. Is this something that's just typically handled by support, or would a tool be beneficial here?

Hi,

I hope that you'll agree that Veeam database is not something you'd like to mess up, so there is no such tool generally available and I don't think will ever be. So, yes - such things should be handled solely by support.

Thank you.
