We use Veeam 9 backing up to a local repository.
Now we wan to copy the data, already backed up over WAN to a remote site.
What do we Need to do that?
I think we Need the WAN Accellerator to Speed it up. But what must I install on the target site?
Please give advice
regards Gerald

Re: Copy Backups over WAN
Hello Gerald!
You need to deploy WAN Accelerators on source and target sites and choose them in the backup copy job settings.
What WAN bandwidth do you have, by the way?
Thanks!

Re: Copy Backups over WAN
Do I Need any licensed Veeam Server at the target?
We have 10 MBit upload at the main site an 16 download at the target site.
What is the minimum speed for a reliable backup?

Re: Copy Backups over WAN
Target site doesn`t need to be licensed.
There is no minimal speed. Reliability depends on backup size, stable connection etc. 10Mbps should work fine with WAN accelerators.
