"Remote Deleted VMs" - can that be scheduled?

Post by jkettler »

The "Remote Deleted VMs" option is a welcome addition, particularly for Reverse Incremental jobs, but now it appears we can only set it to run "after ## days". This causes problems as it's a very slow process and when scheduled in this manner, unpredictable as to when it runs. Is there a way to better tune when this runs? This one has been running for 14 hours and doesn't appear it will finish in time for the nightly job to run again.

Sorry, that should be "Remove" not remote. Too many concurrent jobs running in my brain.

This type of activity cannot be scheduled. What you can do is to initiate a fake job cycle manually by excluding all disks and hitting Start button and therefore let job finish this activity once the fake cycle ends. Thanks.

I think you have some kind of issue as this operation should normally complete very fast. Best would be to investigate this with support.
