How to import the configuration of my VEEAM

Post by Soze »

Hello everyone,

Well, it seems I have to do something very simple, but I have never worked with the product.

Currently VEEAM is on a server has a number of job for backup.
Except VEEAM is a too powerful machine and I'd like to move to a new machine.
So the goal is not to make a pure migration, but new installation of VEEAM on the new server, and import all configuration there.

Then I format the old VEEAM simply.

So my job is to ask yourself what do I do first? How?

Thank you in advance !

Hi Florian, there's a built-in configuration backup/restore right for this use case. Thanks.
