Can you specify what time an "Active Full Backup" runs

Post by mjgreen81 »

Hi all,

I am just configuring a new reverse incremental backup job. To keep things tidy, I want to specify an Active Full Backup to take place periodically via the Advances settings.

However, I cant seem to specify what time this Active Full Backup runs. I can only specify by (for example) "First Sunday of the Month".

What time does it run?

Hi Mike, it runs at the time you've specified in the job scheduling options.

Apologies, I am still a little confused....

So If within the advanced setting of the job I specify my Active Full Backup to run "Monthly on First Sunday" (and select it to run January/March/May etc), but the job is scheduled to to run on Saturday at 22:00, when will the full active backup run?

Ah, OK, I understand. So if I changed the Full Active Backup to run on First Saturday of the month (the same day that the 'normal' reverse incremental runs), what would happen? Does the Full Active Backup just run instead of the reverse incremental or do they both run?

Active full will be run instead of the incremental run.
